I've had an extremely busy private life this past month, which has stalled my writing pretty bad. Although, I do have the third song pretty much finished by now and it turns out really fucken good. It's the one that I'm most satisfied with so far. I'm gonna record the guitars for the demo version of it tonight and send it to the other guys. Erik will go on vacation next week so he needs it to start working on the lyrics for it. I will also hand over a beginning of one of the new songs to Urban for him to continue working on. That one has some serious Napalm Death-vibes to it and will definitely cause a moshpit in a live situation! Wink

Too much things going on around me now that takes all of my time. But things will calm down pretty soon (I really hope) and I'll pick up where I left. And honestly, I don't think any damage is done since I came up with a different and probably better arrangement for this song a couple of hours ago, while I was mowing the lawn Happy

Tomorrow is my last work day before I take a well-earned 4-week summer vacation - which means I will have a lot more time to work on the new material. Can't wait for that! Also, I'm gonna hook up with Peter at our rehearsal place soon to work on some stuff that he's been cooking recently. Things aren't really moving the way we want them right now, but I'm sure that once we get going for real with the new material we'll keep it rolling.

Just a small update: Three songs are now completed, and I have two more half songs done + a few days ago I handed over the beginning of a song to Urban who will continue working on that one. Erik is solely focusing on writing lyrics and Peter on writing killer riffs.

We're also checking again on which exact date we're going to start the recording. Leon Music Studio is expanding its facilities and the building process has already started, so the initial recording schedule we had is now a bit fucked. But we'll start sometime during the first half of November, that's for sure.

As always I have the privilege to get to hear the demos that Tobben is making at home and I just got a brand new track yesterday to listen to. That shit was absolutely phenomenal, to say the least.- Some real heavy and blasting fucken death metal that just reeks of so much Vomitory, it's almost ridiculous.

I have no doubt (I never do) that they will once again serve us a great fucken album full of blistering death metal. I know this becoz, as mentioned, I get to hear the demos, haha...
