So I know this has been up for discussion in the past, but I'd like to take it up for another chance of finalizing. Is there any chance of getting some GD wear? Tshirts/hoodies/etc? I for one would love some to go with my GD band-wear, and I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking so.

I've been thinking about that as well lately.
That last shirt was what, 4 years ago? Plus, I'm in an officially Catholic uni - I won't wear that one there anymore, haha.

Hahaha, I work with catholics and I'm studying in a catholic university as well. My two GD shirts are basically my pajamas from hell during the winter. :D

I still wear my old GD T-shirt from time to time, although I have outgrown it. Good quality, though, it didn't wear out.
That being said, whatever new gear comes out, I'm buying it.

I still have my old GD shirt, it still fits great and still looks like it's new. That was a damn fine quality shirt.

Still, I imagine the overhead for something like that is hard to come up with on a site that takes in no profit...

I gave away my old global domination t-shirt, the one with just a text logo and the old "if your band sucks we're the first to say it" tagline, to a guy in lebanon. that was an ace shirt though, didn't reallylike the ones printed after that. but it'd be cool to see a new line of GD clothing for sure.

In terms of saving shipping costs and all that red tape...

Why don't we just get a design up as a vector graphic or something, ship it out via DATA HIGHWAY and let people in the same country do their own batch orders? I mean, instead of mailing ten shirts into the states, just give the design to someone capable there and let him make an order for all the US citizens.

It's not like people rip each other off here. Still, if someone doesn't trust the guy responsible, he can still go out with the design and get his very own shirt.

I don't think there's a huge demand for GD merch, but hey, maybe I am wrong. I guess I could try to fire something up (and taking care of it all by myself since I want control of shit like this, you know). Thing is, it's not too cheap to print stuff and send it all over the world. I can't do it without funds, and knowing we'd prolly sell some 20 shirts or so it feels like it's more of a hassle than anything.

I'll add a poll to this topic to see if people are even remotely interested in a shirt. Any idea what it should look like? I guess something clean with the logo or something is preferred? Or?

Also, I'm moving this to the GD area of the forums.

In the spirit of the donation experiment you could submit a design first and if enough people confirm they will order it, print it. I'd go for a less controversial shirt, I could wear that one at work. Already cast my vote as well.

This is one reason why I am voting no. That and the fact that shirts from the EU to Australia cost a shitload. Get Curby to make them over in the Czech Republic to sell via his OE shop and maybe I'd do it. His postage is reasonable.
