Update:
Dirk's been working with the first tune for a bit now and is soon wrapping that one up. He will be doing the drums on and off in-between his busy schedule so we don't know when they will be finished. But what we do know is that it will be phenomenal, of course. With some luck he might be popping in with some choice words of his on the process. But obviously things are going great.

I tried to start putting down the vocals for J, or the guidelines for vocals is more like it... I have to wait until tomorrow to get my gear fixed for this though, coz the sound didn't come out too well. Johan of 4Sound (where I buy all my gear) will help me out and make shit sound as it's supposed to sound. Can't wait to put all these lyrics down and get J into the studio as soon as he has the time for it.
With some luck you'll have some updates from Dirk coming in asap as well.

And now we are rolling. My set up is fixed so I can do the guidelines for J and he can start putting down vocals whenever he feels like it. I'll start getting his stuff down asap.

Small update:
J is currently going thru all of the stuff I have recorded for him so he knows what to deliver (with his own unique and dominating twist, as always). We're not sure when he'll start recording, but he'll work that out. Ruby's currently sending over her demoed stuff for the second tune and it sounds absolutely killer. This is shaping up to be so fucken killer, if I may say so. I just can't wait until these 2 start to record their stuff for real. Should be completed sometime this summer, I guess. Dirk's hard at work as well and will try to hand you an update as we go along.

Hell yeah! He's not only one of the best drummers out there, he also comes out as a killer, down to earth cool guy as well.
On the first song, did he put some little changes on your drum parts? Maybe put a little of his own style?

Man, Dirk's one of the coolest fucken guys I have ever met. And when it comes to what he plays - he definitely puts down his own touch on everything. And that's what I want. He's got clear instructions from me as for what he can do and he absolutely blew me the fuck away with this first song. I knew he would, but this is something else. You just wait, guys...

Looking forward to hearing Dirk's contributions to the whole TPH sound dimension(s). I didn't know he played on the new Naglfar when I bought it, but was very pleased to find out once I saw the liner notes. I know he (along with the rest of the album) got some healthy praise in the latest AA, but feel free to let him know there's one more asshole out here who thinks he did a kickass job behind the kit for that record. Of course we can always count on top quality death metal devastation from J's vocals & I'm quite intrigued to hear what Ruby has conjured up in her latest rites of witchery. Most exciting time to be a fan, I must say - my continuing gratitude for the promise of more majestic war soon to come...
