What I want you guys to do, all of you who reads this, is to e-mail us at theprojecthate@gmail.com (ofcourse only if you feel you can donate anything at all) and tell us what you can throw our way to make the next album happen. I will ofcourse spend every little cent I can since I absolutely live for this and we have the best damned material lying around that we ever created. I do not ask anyone to donate a hundred bucks, a thousand bucks or even 10 bucks. I just wanna see if this is even doable in the long-run.

Just e-mail us with a figure you think you could hand over to finance the recording and I will keep you guys updated on how everything looks in this fantasy-donation thing as we go along.

To make it easy, put the amount in dollars. Spread the word about this and we'll see what happens. I wouldn't mind one bit to not sign with a label again and release this monster in high quality for free (not really "free" since you guys then would have paid for it to happen).

So, again - spread the word. I will fire up a document and keep everything in check and see how shit stacks up as far as eventual donations would go. This way we will know if it's even doable to work something this way.

Would it be the first time in history that the fans pay for a recording if it happens? I wouldn't be surprised. What would surprise me though is if this actually would work. We’ll let this experiment run for quite a bit naturally.

Last off - lemme state that I will keep you updated on how much we get in fantasy donations, as well as if we get this going I will ofcourse stop taking donations as soon as I see we have reached the needed budget.

It’s worth a try anyways, if not just for the hell of it.

I just wanted to add that if this really does turn out to be enough, then maybe you can give some incentives, like if we raise X amount of $ people who donated up to 5$ will get the album in mp3, up to 10$ in flac, up to 20$ on cd, up to 30$ signed cd. You get the point.

I seriously think that no matter the donation you should get the album in whatever format you see fit and what's possible to arrange. Also, I believe it would be appropriate to give you this album thru a specific site with a code or something so you will get it exclusively. It will eventually be on the net as always, but this way you who donate would have it exclusively for quite some time.

This is an idea I like.

Also, some 800 dollars total in fantasy donations have been offered to us already. That is impressive. Spread the word now and let's see if this thing actually can be pulled off.

Well, after noticing the other day that my closet now has a totally own section of TPH shirts (don't even know how many they are+ one more on the way this week). Making a donation for a new album wouldn't be that strange actually just to see it been made.

About 1200 dollars fantasy donated so far. Lemme say that I have actually gotten the word from some label people as well as people in bands I have never heard of making an offer.

I don't know what to say really... Maybe this thing will work. That would be insane. Long way to go though.

For me, I just see it as "I am donating money up front to be able to get my copy of the new CD". Hence why I'd pay $15, easily, to finance the new record just cos that is what I would think is a reasonable price for a CD in a store (roundabout 12/13 euros is what I'd pay). I fucken hate overpriced CDs, no consumer really needs to pay $25 for a CD unless it's a fucken super deluxe edition with 3 bonus dvd's and 10 bonus tracks. It doesn't cost that much to manufacture a CD.

But if I can get an amazing album for a decent quality price I'm prepared to shell out money for a product.

I think this is also a consumer thing - nobody wants to pay for a product they can get, essentially, for free. But I want physical copies and artwork of my CDs - I can lose all my files in a hard drive crash, but I can still listen to music on my stereo.

I want a CD with a lyrics booklet like I want to read a newspaper in the morning.
