A Well Thought Tragedy: Dying for what we love

This review was written by ex-staffer/cocksmoker Kampfar:
My heart was suddenly filled with love today. Finally I found the lady I’d like to share my life with. Unfuckingfortunately the fortunate one is Lindsay Lohan, a gal living many, many miles away from Norway. She supposedly did some movies but all I know her for is being a nice fucking slut with a bad cocaine habit. That’s in contrary to Kate Moss, who is just a skanky cocaine ho’ resembling a heroine junky. Anyways, due to me having an immense self-insight I realize that I’ll never even get to lick Lindsay’s toilet, much less fuck her. So I cry and mourn.
In such circumstances I like to put on eyeliner the HIM way, listen to the band, and cut myself up with plastic knifes. But, for some reason I can’t find any of the albums I own by the Finnish masters as of now, though I suspect my slightly gay brother to have borrowed them. He mumbled something about getting a fitting soundtrack to one of his homo-erotic productions yesterday.
No HIM means I have to resort to other means, and this time the honor goes to A Well Thought Tragedy. I’m so love struck now, tears in my eyes and shit, so I barely noticed that they have an incredibly shitty name. Oh, Lohan, I listen to “Dying for what we love” just because of you.
And it does good, fuck yeah. Hate replaced love as soon as the first mallcore chord from this dysfunctional outing of a band left the speakers. I’d still like to fuck you, Lohan. In fact I’d like to copulate you in front of this band and then ejaculate all over their instruments. They deserve no less, ‘cause all they ever do is to take the worst out of the three-name-band formula and play it with close to no power and definitively nil creativity. Sure, the drummer is the main reason for the lack of punch, but I can’t fucking say that he had much to work with in the first place. Ants are more creative than this poorly thought idea.
The vocals aren’t much difference; in fact you have to be a scat expert to tell if there is any. They are done in such an uninspired and poor manner that they make the “look-at-me-I’m-very-tough” guy from Hatebreed sound inspired and full of spirit. That’s a feat.
(After I wrought up this unnecessary review, I found out that they’ve already kicked their vocalist and released a new album. If he participated on that I do not know, or care to know. Fuck this band.)
I’m now full of hate and ready to kill. Fuck off and thanks to A Well Thought Tragedy.
