Invictus: Imperium paganum

I fucking pride myself in giving albums, bad or good, multiple listens before emptying my brain over it.
Not so here, nah ah.
I knew even before I listened to this crapper it would be a bad one, not that I’ve become a seer all of sudden, been that for ages, but the very fact that none on the whole of the internet had bothered to leak it told me it probably wasn’t worth the electricity spent recording it. Not to forget the sounds, as I learned this isn’t music, consumes electricity when listened to as well. Then again, a megapack of batteries would be enough to keep Invictus’ fans with juice for a year or two, so I shan’t blame the lone bore behind this moniker for global warming.
Monumental heathen music from the ancestral past of the European people that speaks through centuries to the collective soul of the European folk.
If he actually wrote that bullshit himself I’m sure he believes looking at his dick through a magnifying glass makes it bigger. Yeah, the attempt at hyping this nothingness is just as pathetic. I wouldn’t be surprised if this ambient nonsense was made to fill your head with grand pictures of battle, some heroic crap like that, but at the very best I can picture a limp pony stepping on a pink keyboard, the pony of course homosexual and full of A.I.D.S, on a battlefield not being so for the last 50 years or so, say Omaha Beach.
The reason I didn’t bother to invest more of my time on this borefest is because I really concentrated the first time around, using my rather excellent headphones, and found out there was close to nothing going on. Nothing to be discovered, layered as a single pancake I tell ya, and what’s in your face is a keyboard, whatever fuck, going bla, bla, bla, bla, bla, broken up only by some rubbish mumbling. I confirmed this by giving it another go, this time on my stereo. It will never happen again.
This band should fuck off and never ship their stuff to GD ever again. Man, I’ve fucked dolls more metal than this, sheep too.
Neo-folk is the suck.
